HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Have you ever wished you could box up the best things about the Magnolia State and mail it to a family member or friend?

Now, a new service offers a taste of Mississippi in a unique gift box. 

Mississippi in a box is a tailor-made southern gift box filled with five items that truly represent Mississippi. 

The box comes with Wheeler's Praline Pecans, Magnolia Munchies, a Lazy Magnolia Bottle opener, a Southern Kernels Hub City Mix, Mississippi Cheese straw Company Mudpuppies, a free made by Mississippi sticker, and a custom handwritten letter. 

According to the website, the gift has the ability to make anyone feel at home. 

The box can be for anyone who has lived in Mississippi, or for someone wanting the authentic experience our state has to offer, according to the website.

    Around 8 p.m., emergency crews responded to a reignited house fire on Hwy. 11 in Lamar County. Fire investigator, George Stephens, says the initial fire happened before 3 a.m. on July 21.  When crews arrived on scene, the home was fully engulfed in flames. No one was at home at the time of the fire. Stephens says the family was thankful to be away when the fire sparked.     Just after midnight on July 21, the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatality on Hwy 53 in Pearl River County. Four people were pronounced dead at the scene.  According to authorities, a 2015 Chevrolet Sonic was traveling north of Highway 53 when it crossed the center line and crashed head on with a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado driving in the southbound lane.
