Over or Under: The great toilet paper debate solved

A centuries old patent proves that the under technique is the incorrect way to use toilet paper. A centuries old patent proves that the under technique is the incorrect way to use toilet paper.
HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

It has been a debate that has plagued households for years.

What is the correct way to use a toilet paper roll? Whether you are an over or under fan, the correct way to use toilet paper has now been revealed in a centuries old patent.

According to an article on BGR.com, toilet paper can be considered the creation of Seth Wheeler, who in the late 1800s invented perforated toilet paper.

The article goes on to say that in 1892, Wheeler was issued a patent for toilet paper that clearly shows in a diagram the over technique.

Wheeler's patent, although not very recent, was forgotten until a twitter user tweeted the image, according to the article.

Take our poll, what do you think the correct way to roll is? Over, or under?
