PERRY COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - Three suspects are in custody in connection to the missing 1-year-old from Covington County.
Gerren Keys, 25, and Tiffany Hillman, 26, were taken in to custody by officials around 11:00 p.m.
Around 10 p.m. authorities with Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, Perry County Sheriff's Department and Covington County Sheriff's Department located Keys, Hillman and Alida Keys, the missing child, and the maternal grandmother.
According to authorities, the maternal grandmother, Cynthia Hillman, drove Keys and Hillman to the house to take Alida. Hillman was taken into custody shortly before the other two suspects were apprehended at an unnamed location in Perry County.
The MBI issued the AMBER Alert just before 9 p.m. after Alida was reported missing from a home in the Sanford Community.
According to officials the child was last seen with
her paternal grandmother, who had custody of her, around 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
Covington County Sheriff's Department officials said Keys and Hillman previously lost parental custody.
