Misty, foggy conditions dominated the area for the first half of your Monday. Showers will move through the Pine Belt this afternoon and evening, clearing out around dinner time.
Foggy conditions are expected again late tonight and into Tuesday morning with lows near 60 degrees.
Tuesday afternoon brings warm temperatures in the mid 70s with a chance for a few showers. The best rain chances will hold off until Wednesday, though. Wednesday evening, in particular, will be stormy as a cold front approaches.
Expect Thursday to be significantly colder after the front sends another blast of very cold air our way. Highs will fight to make it up to 40 degrees. At this point, forecast models keep any wintry precipitation well to our north. More details as the week progresses.
