The much anticipated warm-up has finally arrived! Temperatures have climbed above 60 degrees for the first time since last weekend under mostly sunny skies. We've got a milder, cloudy night with temps in the mid 40s ahead.
Sunday could be rainy for some folks with the best chance for showers and a few rumbles of thunder in the late afternoon and evening. Showers will likely be widely scattered across the Pine Belt for the first half of the day, increasing slightly in coverage as we head toward dinner time. Don't worry, the second half of your weekend will by no means be a wash out!
The work week to follow is shaping up to be rather rainy as well. A stalled front in the region keeps the chance for showers and storms in the forecast through Thursday with the best chance for some stronger storms on Wednesday evening. But we've got temps in the 70s to look forward to!
