JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - A Jones County man is behind bars after officials allegedly found drugs during a home search.
Carl McClendon, 55, of Laurel was arrested on Feb. 17 after officials served a warrant to a home on Woodburg Avenue.
According to officials, McClendon was found with 26.5 grams of cocaine and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute within 1,500 feet of a church.
McClendon's bond was set at $100,000, but it was later revoked for previous charges from an incident in late January. He is currently being housed in the Jones County Jail.
