The bulk of this morning's showers have moved out of the Pine Belt but more showers are headed our way. Expect rain on and off through the afternoon and into the overnight hours. The colder air behind the front will have arrived by tonight, dropping lows into the mid/upper 30s.
Early risers might experience a wet start Monday before things start to dry out...temporarily. Monday afternoon/evening brings more showers that'll persist through the night. Dress warmly because temperatures won't likely make it out of the mid 40s and damp conditions will make it feel even colder!
With temperatures just below freezing on Tuesday morning for our northern counties, freezing rain is possible before about 7am. Be extra careful heading to work and watch for icing on the roads as a result of freezing rain. After sunrise expect a transition to rain.
Afternoon highs will increase slightly through the week but won't make it out of the 40s until the second half of the work week.
