LAMAR COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - A Christian minister with strong ties to Egypt spoke to the Hattiesburg Tea Party Thursday night about the threat of terrorist groups like Isis. Usama Dakdok was born in Egypt and founded the Florida-based, Straight Way of Grace Ministry.

He said he wasn't surprised by the horrific be-headings of nearly two dozen Egyptian Christians by Isis this week.  And he said atrocities like that will continue until the West takes a realistic stand against Islamic terror organizations.

"The sad thing is that people in the West here will not acknowledge that these are Muslims and that what's happening is what's taking place to the Christians," Dakdok said. "The longer we stay ignorant of Islam and Muslims, the more dangerous it will be.  It's literally going to bring the destruction of America," he said.

Dakdok also spoke to the Hattiesburg Tea Party in 2010.
