Enjoy the warmer temperatures today and tomorrow because we've got cooler days to come! Lows tonight will be mild in the upper 40s under mostly cloudy skies.
A warm front lifting northward from the coast will make for a warmer day Monday with highs in the upper 60s/low 70s. But Monday brings our next weather maker as well, so be sure to have the umbrella nearby!
Showers are possible through the first half of the day but the chance for thunderstorms holds off until the late afternoon/evening. A few storms will be on the stronger side packing gusty winds and heavy rainfall. Best chances for this will be between about 4pm and 7pm, according to the latest model runs.
Any precipitation of the frozen variety will very likely stay north of the Pine Belt. Rain lingering into the early morning hours of Tuesday will be very cold but at this point, it does not appear that the atmosphere will support freezing rain or sleet reaching the ground.
Cooler temperatures will follow for the remainder of the work week.
