This Valentine's Day, jewelry, flowers and gift baskets make the perfect gift for that special someone.
“Pandora is all the rage, it's the perfect thing so she can start her collection for every holiday,” said Chae Carter of Carter's Jewelry. “It just gives it a little bit of a different look it has the 14k gold clasp.”
For the Valentine that's been in your life for a long time, there are specialty items that serve as long term investments.
“Maybe the never ending love necklace that we do,” Carter said. “It has two wedding bands and a diamond that drops from it and you can add to it every year.”
If jewelry is too over-the-top, head down to the local flower shop.
“This year, we're doing a lot of stuffed animals, a lot of balloons,” said Tiffany Cuevas of Flowers by Mariam. “Of course roses every valentine's also just mixed cuts- the pretty cut that every girl likes.”
Flowers are the traditional was to go. Few women won't melt from receiving a beautiful bouquet.
“We always like to say that fresh cut is the prettiest thing because we can pick out the prettiest flowers make you something really special, really gorgeous and be different,” said Cuevas.
If flowers aren't the ideal choice, there's always a cute gift basket.
“We have gummy bears, stuffed animals, a really big assortment in these larger basket,” Cuevas said. “The smaller one we can do a stuffed animal, we can put the candle, maybe a stuffed animal, wrap it up, bow [it makes] a nice little gift.”
