JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -  The family of a teenager killed in a tragic car accident in Jones County is speaking out about their loved one.

“She was so beautiful. She never met a stranger,” her aunt Rose Mary Harper said.

Brandi Smith was driving with three other teenagers when they slammed into a tree on Rose Lane. All four teens were ejected from the vehicle. Brandi Smith was taken to Forrest General hospital where she died the next day.

Her uncle said she was a beautiful spirit who was full of life.

“She was never ashamed to come and tell you she loved you. She just enjoyed life,” Roland Mozingo said.

Harper hopes that this accident serves as a reminder for teenagers to always buckle up and drive responsibly.

“I hope and pray that all kids when they get on the road will look back at what we're going through,” Harper added.

Two of the families have set up a donation fund. To help them click here and here.
