Thousands of people lined streets in midtown Hattiesburg Saturday to watch the 4th annual Caerus Mardi Gras Parade.
85 floats took part, along with the Hattiesburg High School Marching Band, a roller derby team and some go-cart riders from a Hamasa Shrine.
Folks who were riding on the floats threw beads, plastic cups and other gifts to people who yelled, "throw me something mister."
The event also raised funds for the ARC of Hattiesburg.
