FORREST COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - Two people are behind bars in connection to a Wednesday night shooting incident in Forrest County.
Raymond Debrow, 28, was charged with three counts of attempted aggravated assault, and Aleshiea Montoya, 26, was charged with accessory before the fact to aggravated assault.
According to Forrest County Sheriff's Department Investigator Nick Calico, deputies received a call of shots fired around 7 p.m. in the 100 block of Aron Clemts Road.
Calico stated there were three people in a parking lot along the road, and what appeared to be an altercation between two groups of people, led to Debrow allegedly firing a round or two at the people.
According to Calico, no one was hit by the gunfire, and no one was injured in the altercation.
Deputies were able to locate Debrow and take him into custody. Authorities also located the weapon that was allegedly used in the incident. Calico stated that Montoya was in the vehicle with Debrow at the time of the incident.
Debrow and Montoya will make their first appearance Friday.
