William Carey University is hosting an exhibit at the Lucile Parker Gallery.
The artist features Hattiesburg resident Bobby Walters who has been painting since he was 15-years-old, and specializes in watercolor painting.
The Gallery features 49 of Walters' original pieces. Dr. Ed Ford who is the director of the Lucile Parker Gallery stated that it's important for Hattiesburg residents to attend because Walters' works consist of Hattiesburg landmarks.
“It's important because he paints images from his life, and things that he loves” said Ford, who has seen all of the paintings up close.
The exhibit is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment until it closes on January 29. For more information visit this link.
