The Wayne County Sheriff's Department has arrested two more individuals for the murder of Michael C. Henderson, Sr.
According to investigators, both John Edward Stevens and Sonya Shunta Boggs have been charged with accessory after the fact to murder. Stevens was also charged with felony possession of a prescription drug without a prescription. The arrests stem from the continuing investigation of the October 3, 2014 murder case.
Wayne County Justice Court Judge Charles Chapman set Stevens' bond at $100,000 for the accessory after the fact charge and denied bond on the other charge. Boggs bond was also set at $100,000.
In November, Eric Chambers, Kijana Everett and Gary Dunn were all charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
The investigation also led to the arrest of Gretchen Thompson for hindering prosecution or apprehension first degree. According to the department, the investigation revealed that the murder was drug related.
