3 charged in Sunday Hattiesburg shooting

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Three Hattiesburg residents are behind bars in connection with a Sunday shooting in the Hub City.

According to Hattiesburg police officials, Nneka Robinson, 22, Shannon Donaldson, 30, and Dominique Robinson, 27, turned themselves in to authorities Monday evening.

The three are charged with aggravated assault, use of a deadly weapon in connection to the Sunday shooting that took place in the 1600 block of Cedar Street.

According to Hattiesburg police Lt. Jon Traxler, the shooting incident stemmed from an argument.

Around 4:30 p.m. Sunday officers responded to a report of shots fired at the Cedar Street trailer park. When police arrived, a black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds had been taken to Forrest General Hospital by a bystander.

At last report, the victim was listed in critical condition at Forrest General Hospital.
