JEFFERSON DAVIS COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - A missing Mississippi Forestry Commission truck and a John Deere 450 bulldozer were  recovered Tuesday around 12:30 a.m. in New Orleans, according to department officials.

Brooklyn District Forester Randy Chapin said the New Orleans' Police Department received a tip from a concerned citizen Tuesday morning about the vehicle, and they were about to locate it shortly after noon in the lower 9th Ward at a assisted living facility.

The 10-wheeled vehicle was stolen sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning from Taylor Lucas Road.

According to Chapin, there are no known suspects at this time.

This incident is still under investigation.
