Spirit of Women presents Dining, Decorating & Doctor-Oh My!

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

This is a news release from Health and Medical News from Forrest General Hospital. 

Forrest General's Spirit of Women presents another big and exciting Dining, Decorating & Doctors – Oh My! event. This is the third in a new four part series of events.

The event will be held on Thursday, February 5 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Southern Oaks House and Gardens, 1246 Richburg Road in Hattiesburg.

Join the fun as we enjoy a delicious lunch, learn the latest trends and tips for decorating your home and receive valuable health information during this four part series. Matt Haskins is the decorator presenting for the event and Melanie Keene Hall, MD, family medicine physician, will serve as guest speaker.

The cost to attend the event is $25 for Spirit of Women members and $35 for non-members. Participants may choose to attend a single event or the entire series. To register, call 601-288-4968.

    Three days after nearly knocking off Ole Miss, Southern Miss responded with a 58-38 win over Sam Houston State on Friday night at Reed-Green Coliseum. From the 3:16 mark of the second period to the 5:35 mark of the third period, the Lady Eagles went on a 23-0 run to open a 33-16 lead over the Bearkats. USM outrebounded Sam Houston 45-32, thanks in part to junior Megan Brown and senior Jayla King’s pair of double-doubles.
