JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - The Laurel Narcotics Task Force arrested three men over the weekend as the result of two separate traffic stops.
On Saturday, officers conducted a traffic stop and seized approximately 4-grams of heroin and cocaine as well as a firearm from Andrew Pruitt, 26-years old.
Pruitt is being charged with one count possession of heroin with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm and one count possession of cocaine with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm. Bond was set for each count at $20,000 for each charge.
On Sunday, J officers from the Laurel Narcotics Task Force conducted a traffic stop at Johnson Circle in Laurel and arrested Gerald Collier, 31-years old and Damion Foxhall, 23-years old. Foxhall was charged with possession of cocaine and and Collier was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Foxhall's bond was set at $20,000 and Collier's bond was set at $20,000 but was revoked due to the fact that he was out on bond for a previous charge of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
All three men went before Laurel Municipal Judge Kyle Robertson on Monday and are currently being held in the Jones County Jail.
