JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

Bond has been withheld for three suspects arrested in connection to a suspicious death at Summerland in 2014.

Ray Chapman, 51 & Patrick Ducksworth, 43, both of Taylorsville have their bond withheld due to the nature of the charge and the presumption of guilt being great, according to the district attorney.

This is a news release from the Jones County Sheriff's Investigators

Jones County Sheriff's Investigators have made three arrests surrounding the suspicious death of a Summerland resident.

Ray Chapman, 51, of Taylorsville and Patrick Ducksworth, 37, of Taylorsville are being charged with Capital Murder in the death of Tommy Joe Lewis on Saturday, October 4, 2014. Mr. Lewis' body was found at his residence that had been destroyed by fire.

After an exhaustive investigation and a great deal of help from the community, evidence was found to make the charges.

Chapman and Ducksworth will be making their initial appearance in Justice Court before Judge Beech at 1:30pm on Friday, January 9, 2015.
