The United Way of South Mississippi is partnering with the Forrest County Board of Supervisors for a fundraising raffle.

The raffle prize is a USM helmet that includes Brett Favre, Sammy Winder, Ray Guy and Reggie Collier's signatures. All four have had careers in the NFL as well as given back to the community through various outreach efforts.

The supervisors and United Way partnered together in this event to meet the everyday needs of the less fortunate.

“We are very proud to be helping this organization, there is 19 organizations that fall under the united way. The American Red Cross, the Dubard School, the Salvation Army, and they do so much good for our community that we wanted to give back to them in this way and we are going to be raffling this helmet off the 29th of January, tickets are only 10 dollars,” said Supervisor David Hogan.

Tickets can be purchased at the chancery and multi-purpose building or call 601-545-6000 for more information.
