Juvenile accidentally shot, killed in Walthall County

A juvenile was accidentally shot and killed in Walthall County Sunday night. A juvenile was accidentally shot and killed in Walthall County Sunday night.
WALTHALL COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

A 14-year-old juvenile in Walthall County was accidentally shot Sunday evening. 

According to Investigator Chase Sartin, the victim was found with what appeared to be an accidental gunshot wound on Kirklin Road.

The victim was then transported to Walthall County General Hospital via a personal vehicle where he was then pronounced dead, said Sartin in a news release. 

The incident is still under investigation.
