Alabama church group helps clean Jones County

JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

An Alabama church-based group banded together to clean up the Jones County area after a devastating EF-2 tornado. 

The disaster relief team with the church focused their efforts on Mullican Road where Leonardo Drummond, 45, and Josey White, 40 lost their lives. 

The group called Christ in Action is from Mobile, Alabama, and hoped to share the love of Christ while getting resident's lives back to normal, according to Mike Wilson, the church leader. 

The group cut down trees, cleaned, and prayed with residents affected by the storm.
