The 19th Avenue Baptist Church in Hattiesburg is presenting their Living Nativity and Musical Celebration this weekend at the church.

Show times will be Saturday and Monday nights starting at 7 p.m. and Sunday morning starting at 10:30 a.m. in the church auditorium. The nativity scene will depict the birth of  Jesus Christ with live animals and Mary and Joseph. There will be a full drama of a current day couple couple who are struggling and they just found out they are going to have a baby and also the biblical side of Mary and Joseph when they found out she is pregnant and it compares the struggles the both couple had.

"Our Celebration Choir will be singing some beautiful Christmas music that go along with the musical and the drama," said Pastor Monty Bounds. "It's all centered around Christmas and familiar songs that people know."

Pastor Bounds said this is the 4th year for the performance and it is the church's Christmas gift to the people of Hattiesburg. The three shows are free and open to the public.
