Dec. 12 forecast

The northern Pine Belt may see a few sprinkles this afternoon and evening but the rain near our area isn't a match for the dry air in the atmosphere. Similar to yesterday, most of it is likely evaporating before even reaching the ground.

After a perfectly seasonable day, we've got a seasonable night ahead with lows in the low 40s.

Tomorrow will be warmer with afternoon highs reaching the mid 60s. Expect a mix of clouds and sunshine through the day, perfect for any outdoor plans or holiday festivities you might be enjoying this weekend. Sunday will be similar with even sunnier skies.

A cold front moving through Monday brings the chance for some much-needed showers, especially Monday evening. Slightly cooler air is on the other side, along with a return of the sunshine.
