Despite the overcast skies and occasional light rain, thousands of people lined the streets of downtown Laurel for the annual Sertoma Christmas Parade.
This year's theme for the parade was the Carol's of Christmas. Grand Marshals were Martin and Godwin from Duck Dynasty. The parade featured several marching bands from the local area, floats put together by local businesses and organizations, emergency vehicles, and much more.
The Sertoma Christmas Parade is much more than family fun, money raised from entry fees for participants in the parade is used to support the Sertoma Club's mission of enhancing the lives of those who have speech and hearing impediments.
The Sertoma Parade is the largest of its kind in the state.
