FGH announces Dream Wedding Giveaway recipients

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

 This year marked the 4th annual Dream Wedding Giveaway by Forrest General Hospital, and the winner has been announced. 

Shana Roberts and Kane Edwards won this year's dream wedding. 

Eighteen brides entered the contest, and the names came down to the weekly winners during November. 

"We are very excited to do this for women, we've partnered with local businesses such as Forrest Bridal as well as Canebrake Country Club to create a package valued at over $18,000 dollars," said Lauren Bethea, OBGYN at Hattiesburg Clinic. "There is a $10,000 dollar reception, a $5,000 dress as well as all of the other amenities."

Over 18 thousand votes were cast in the contest and the winning couple must have their wedding by December 15th of next year.
