Landrum's Kicks off 31st Christmas at the Village

LAUREL, MS (WDAM) -

 Looking for something to do during the holiday season.  Landrum's Homestead & Village in Jones County may be the place to be.  Just two days until the 31st annual Christmas at the Village.  The event is an old fashioned Christmas celebration that is sure to delight the hearts of the young and old.  You can stimulate the taste buds with food from the Smokehouse, funnel cakes and don't miss out on photos with Santa Claus.

The annual tradition will also include hand made craft vendors, civil war re-enactments.  Bobby Hathorn will be the headliner at the General Store. Hathorn will be picking his banjo for visitors.  While at the store, don't forget to pick up some of Mann's Kettle Corn and take a wagon ride through the fascinating nature trails.

Expect to take in the sights and sounds.  The village stage will feature the live performance of one of Nashville's biggest stars, Samantha Landrum and some local entertainers for your listening pleasure for two days.  What better way to kick off the Christmas Holiday Season than with thousands of twinkling lights that are sure to bring some cheer.  Landrum's Homestead & Village"Christmas at the Village" event kicks off Saturday, November 29th at 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 30th from noon to 8 p.m.  Landrum's is located at 1356 Highway 15 South, Laurel, MS.
