MBI issues endangered child alert

This is a news release from the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is issuing an Endangered/Missing Child Alert for two-year-old Gabriel Dent. 

The child is described as a light-skinned black male, three feet tall weighing 32 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. 

He was last seen on foot yesterday about 7:00 p.m. in the Georgia Street area of Jackson wearing a red shirt, Roca Wear blue jeans and Polo boots. He may be accompanied by 27-year-old Newell Jays. 

Jays is described as a black male, 5'9” weighing, 160 pounds. Jays was last seen wearing a red shirt, gray pants and a dark hoodie. 

If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of Gabriel Dent or Newell Jays contact the Jackson Police Department at 601-960-1324.
