The 4th annual Southern Pines Animal Shelter Tails and Ales, Find Your Soul Mutt fundraiser and adoption event is Sunday afternoon.

The event is being held at the Keg and Barrel on Hardy St. in Hattiesburg from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be several adoptable dogs at the fundraiser, as well as a silent auction. Admission is $20 which will get you a Tails and Ales t-shirt, A $10 gift certificate from the Keg and Barrel,  a complimentary beer and the opportunity to find the perfect family pet for your family.

"It's a good opportunity for folks to get out with their dogs in Hattiesburg, meet other folks who have dogs, and let their dogs interact with other dogs that are up for adoption," said Valerie Rachal, SPAS research and development. "Who knows, maybe they will find their soul mutt and we'll get some adoptions."

Folks are invited to bring their sociable dogs to the event.
