Hattiesburg police search for shooting suspects

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Hattiesburg police need the public's help in locating two suspects involved in a Saturday night shooting at a Hattiesburg apartment complex.

Authorities are searching for Chadrick Dixon, and his accomplice, a black male, known only as “Mike”.

According to Hattiesburg police, the two are wanted in connection with shooting into an occupied dwelling of a Doleac Drive apartment. According to an HPD report, multiple rounds were fired at the apartment, while multiple occupants were inside. No one was injured in the shooting according to authorities.

Dixon drives a Lincoln van, and a blue Chevrolet Camaro. The accomplice “Mike” drives a white Dodge Charger with black racing stripes.

    The University of Southern Mississippi ended Saturday’s regular-season baseball finale at Marshall University the same way it started, with a bang. The 18th-ranked Golden Eagles sent 13 batters to the plate in both the second and ninth innings, scoring eight runs in each, as USM finished off a first-ever sweep of the Thundering Herd on its home turf with a 18-9 victory at Epling Stadium.
