Friday was Northeast Jones first home playoff game in a while, but you would not have been able to tell.
Senior running back Reggio Dean rushed for 253 yards and six touchdowns, while even recording a tackle in the Tigers' win. "It really wasn't just me a lot goes to our defense and our offensive line having a great game game up front giving me a place where I can find a hole and hit the crease. And just get a few yards and just do what I can and just also our quarterback being such a dynamic player that the defense has to watch both of us so it makes it easier on me," Dean said Monday.
His head coach Keith Braddock says the senior back has been a key to consistency all year."It's the same thing he gives us every week. Great effort he had a warrior type performance and I use that word each week he's a tremendous player. And honestly he's an even better young man."
After this past week's win, the Tigers are set to face St. Stanislaus in the Jungle on Friday.
