Jones County Department of Human Services kicks off its annual Christmas Toy Drive campaign

JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

The Jones County Human Services kicked off its annual “Christmas Toy Drive” campaign on Monday at the department's headquarters located in Ellisville.

The event is held each year to allow the public to give Christmas toy donations to children up to 12-years old that are being helped by the agency.

Participating in the kickoff campaign is the city of Laurel, the city of Ellisville, the Ellisville Fire Department and the Jones County Sheriff's Department along with many businesses from the around the area and all the major car dealers in Laurel.

They are asking the public to bring an unwrapped Christmas toy to one of these participating organizations for a boy or a girl.

They are also accepting monetary donations.
