Pine Belt resident jailed on sexual battery charge

A Greene County resident is behind bars in Forrest County and charged with sexual battery.

Mark "Daniel" Hollimon, 44, was taken into custody by the Forrest County Sheriffs Department in an investigation that spans Perry, Forrest, and Greene counties. 

According to investigators, their investigation has discovered two victims, and could potentially lead to more. Hollimon's charge is linked back to victims under the age of 16. 

The investigation is ongoing at this time, as multiple agencies work together to determine if other charges will be added. Hollimon is set to make his initial appearance on Friday.
