Southern Miss Gulf Park Hosting Homecoming, Spirit Week Events Nov. 3-8

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -  This is a news release from USM

University of Southern Mississippi students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in Homecoming and Spirit Week activities Nov. 3-8 on the Gulf Park Campus in Long Beach.
 
The schedule of events is as follows:

*Monday - Friday, Nov. 3 - 7
• Get your Game Tickets, Hardy Hall Room 232, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Student Organizations Decorate Lawn Banners, Lloyd Lawn, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
• Show your Spirit: Wear black and gold, snap a photo and upload to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with #SouthernSpiritGP
 
*Monday, Nov. 3
• Southern Connection Social: Southern Miss Trivia, Pizza and Prizes, Administration Building Plaza, 11:45 a.m.
• Movie Night: Magic Trip, Gulf Coast Library Room 204, 7 p.m.
 
*Tuesday, Nov. 4
• Lunch and Learn: “Voice of Southern Miss” with John Cox, FEC Room 104, 11:45 a.m.
• Legacy Scholarship Fundraiser: Ice Cream Social, FEC Rotunda, 5 p.m.
 
*Wednesday, Nov. 5
• 4th annual Golf Cart Spirit Parade, 11:45 a.m.
• Homecoming maid reception, Hardy Hall Ballroom, 12:30 p.m.
 
*Thursday, Nov. 6
• The Legacy Student Alumni Association: T-shirt Swap and Paint the Little Rock, Administration Building Plaza, 11:45 a.m.
• Google Poetry Olympics, Administration Building Plaza, 1 p.m.
 
*Friday, Nov. 7
• Go Gold Friday: Wear gold Southern Miss T-shirt
 
*Saturday, Nov. 8
• Free shuttle to homecoming game, FEC Rotunda, bus departs at 12:30 p.m. Pre-register by Wednesday, Nov. 5 at www.usm.edu/gulfcoast/homecoming/shuttle
• Tailgate Under the Oaks, Gulf Park Campus South Lawn, open to the public, 3 p.m.
