LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - On Friday, October 31, the Laurel Police Department's Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant on Lee Street in Laurel. It was a result of a two-week long investigation of the residence.
Officers arrested 61-year old Tyrone Thompson, 30-year old Travis Thompson and 22-year old Dalvin Bounds. Inside the home, officers found about 40 grams of crystal meth, 15 grams of crack cocaine and also some powder cocaine.
The suspects made their initial court appearances Monday before Judge Kyle Robertson.
Tyrone Thompson's bond was set at $10,000. Travis Thompson's bond was set at $50,000 and Bound's bond was set at $20,000.
During the search a handgun was found to belong to Tyrone Thompson. He will be charged as a felon in possession of a firearm.
All three men are currently being held in the Jones County Jail.
