VIDEO: Woman endures endless catcalls during 10 hour walk in NYC

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

There is nothing special about what she was wearing; just jeans and a T-shirt.

The woman who made this video wanted to make a point about what it is like for a normal woman in New York City.

For 10 hours, she walked around the city, and what she caught on video was pretty astounding.

The hidden camera video captured men verbally harassing her with 'Hey baby!' or 'Smile,' while other catcalls were more forceful, even scary.

The woman made the video as part of public service announcement highlighting the impact of street harassment.
