Bethany Christian Services gives away infant care items

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - This is a news release from BETHANY CHRISTIAN SERVICES

Infant care items to be distributed on October 24, 2014

Hattiesburg, MS., October 7, 2014 — On October 24, 2014, Bethany Christian Services will be giving out diapers, wipes, soy infant formula, baby food and infant cereal for women and children that are in need of basic infant essentials.  Items available for pick up will be distributed at the Bethany office located at 7 professional Parkway Suite 103, from 9 am to 4 pm.  Supplies are limited and will be given on a first come first serve basis.  This program is a portion of the outreach that Bethany offers to the Hattiesburg community.  Bethany is a not for profit crisis pregnancy center and child placing agency that has served Hattiesburg and it surrounding areas for over 27.  Bethany provides free pregnancy tests, life options counseling and adoption planning to women facing an unplanned pregnancy.  Bethany assists women in their parenting journey by offering infant parenting classes and opportunities to earn shopping sprees in the “Bethany Baby Boutique”.

Women interested in picking up items for their infants will need to provide a copy of identification and a copy of the infant's crib card, Mississippi Medicaid Card or birth certificate at the time of pick up.  For more information contact the Bethany office at 601-264-4984 for more information.

Bethany envisions a world where every child has a loving family. Bethany Christian Services offers domestic infant and international adoption, pregnancy counseling, post abortion counseling and post-adoption counseling. Bethany is committed to protecting children, serving women, and preserving families—with a goal of serving 75,000 children a year by 2015.

If you would like to help or would like additional information about Bethany's services, please contact Rebecca Hartfield at 601.264.4984 or visit www.Bethany.org/Hattiesburg.
