Laurel restaurant set for annual reunion

LAUREL, MS (WDAM) -

Aniconic restaurant in Laurel is set for their annual reunion.

Phillips Drive-In, better known as PDI, will have its 4th Annual Reunion thisSaturday. Everyone is invited to the event which will be located onSouth Magnolia Street and will be from 5 - 10 p.m. There will be live musicand plenty of cheeseburgers are expected to go around.

“We'regoing to have a live band The Slackers out of Meridian, they are a bluesinfluenced rock band,” said PDI General Manager Marie Dearman. “They'll be someantique cars and it's just an opportunity for all of the people who enjoyed PDIthrough the sixties, seventies, the early eighties.”

Attendeeswill have a chance to write a memory of their PDI experience on a memory wall.
