Registration underway for Putts for Pets at Shadow Ridge

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Registration is now underway for the Putts for Pets golf tournament that will benefit the Southern Pines Animal Shelter.

The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Shadow Ridge Golf Club in Oak Grove. Participants will compete in a four-man scramble format for prizes and trophies, There will also be a longest drive and putt contest as well as a shortest drive contest. Entry fee is $50 per person, $45 per person for teams of four. The entry fee includes green and golf cart fees.

"For registration you can go to our facebook page and at the very top you will see the form," said Theresa Venette, SPAS Board Member. "You can print that off and drop it it off or mail it to the shelter. We are nearing the tournament and so anybody who wants to get in on the fun needs to get the registration in ASAP.

Once payment is made, withdrawals from the tournament will not be permitted, however substitutes will be allowed.
