William Carey receives Best Value School award

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

William Carey University has received a prestigious award, naming it a Best Value School.

The University Research & Review selected William Carey along with 19 other schools from among 8000 post secondary schools.

The committee selected these institutions based on quality and variety of programs, cost, and accreditation. Student satisfaction also factored into the decision.

"It's very nice to be recognized," said Dr. Garry Breland, Vice President of academic affairs. "A lot of people work very hard to make sure our students get a quality education for a good price."

This is the first year William Carey has received the award.
