Electricians across the Pine Belt are working diligently to repair the main distribution panel at Forrest County Agricultural High School. The panel caught fire during school hours. Now FCAHS is without fire, but school is expected to resume on Monday morning.
No injuries were reported.
Superintendent JJ Morgan has reassured parents that all students and faculty at Forrest County Agricultural High School are safe after an early morning electrical fire.
According to Morgan, an electrical fire started on campus around 9 a.m.
All buildings were evacuated and the fire department is on site.
All students were released at 10 a.m.
According to Morgan, the football game scheduled for tonight has been canceled for safety reasons.
