JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - An alleged Jones County heroin dealer who was arrested yesterday has had his bond set for $50,000 of assault on an officer, $25,000 for possession of a controlled substance, and $25,000 for conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance.
Bond was denied because Hosesy was already out on a previous bond prior to yesterday's arrest.
These charges stem from a case back on August 6 when Hosey fled from deputies.
George Lee Hosey was apprehended Thursday by the Jones County Sheriff's Department and the South Mississippi US Marshall Task Force.
According to deputies, Hosey was wanted on multiple charges of assault on a law enforcement officer, felony fleeing, conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and sell of controlled substance.
