Bond was denied for two people charged with capital murder for their involvement in a Simpson County home invasion Friday.
Kendrayla Keys and Cutrell Smith Varnado were given a prelimary hearing date set for October 16 after they allegedly stabbed, bound, and gagged 64-year-old Neoma Durr.
Authorities said 64-year-old Neoma Durr was found dead in her home Friday.
Durr's step-granddaughter, Keys, and her boyfriend, Varnado, were taken into custody.
Officials said that Durr's husband arrived home and found the back door of the home locked. He then saw two people run out of the front door of the home. According to the husband, the two people ran across the front yard, over a pipeline and disappeared.
