Three indicted in capital murder case

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Three suspects involved in an August 2013 capital murdercase were served a three count indictment today in Forrest County CircuitCourt.

Daylon Waldrop, Derrick Bolton, and David Fairley wereindicted on capital murder, conspiracy and kidnapping in the death of RobertWilliams.

The indictment detailed the conspiracy to commit the crime, alongwith using a handgun in the process of a robbery along with unlawfullydetaining another victim in the case.

Williams wasshot at a residence on west 7th street in front of his threeroommates.  

According to a Hattiesburg Police incident report, awitness said they heard a knock on the door and three black males dressed inblack with their faces covered enter the home.  

The witness said onesuspect had a handgun.  

According to the report, Williams and theother three were forced into a bedroom where Williams was shot.

    Saturday morning, contestants in the 68th annual Mississippi Miss Hospitality Pageant gathered at the University of Southern Mississippi for one last social event before the final competition.
