Crimestoppers offering reward for info leading to two arrests

MOSELLE, MS (WDAM) -

The Clarke County Sheriff's Department is looking for Richard Jacob Busby and Michael Nix. Both men are wanted for the theft of a stolen drill core machine and a white Dodge dually valued over $130,000.

On August 5 the department responded to a report of a theft at Johnson Sand and Gravel in the Vossburg Community of Clarke County. An artist rendering of the type of truck and drill that was stolen from the business helped Crimestoppers with a tip. Investigators were able to recover the drill core machine in Wayne County and after further investigation the sheriff's department was led to Jasper County where they recovered the stolen truck. James Brady, Tom Stevens and Ricky Count were arrested during the recoveries.

The Clarke County Sheriff's Department believe these three suspects are part of a burglary ring and need the public’s help in locating the other two subjects. Warrants have been issued for both in connection to the crime.

Any information you are asked to contact the East MS Crimestoppers at 1-855-485-8477 or your local law enforcement. Cash awards up to $1,000 are available for anyone that gives information that leads to arrests and prosecutions.

The Clarke County Sheriff's Department appreciates Jones, Wayne and Jasper County for all their assistance.
