Suspect in custody after Marion Co. manhunt

MARION COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

Marion County authorities have taken Jerry Page into custody after a Monday afternoon manhunt.

Page was wanted in connection to a morning death investigation in the Bunker Hill area. 

According to Sheriff Berkley Hall, an investigator approached Page at a Shell Gas Station at the Mississippi 35 and Highway 13 intersection. As he approached, Page displayed a gun at the officer and fled into the woods.

Page was taken into custody near Brewer Lane and Expose Road in Marion County.
