Child found after Fairfield PD issue Amber Alert

FAIRFIELD, AL (WBRC) -

Police call off Amber Alert after locating missing child. A 9 year old boy reportedly abducted from his home in Fairfield has been found safe.

Fairfield police say Rhashud Felix was taken from his home by his 53 year old grandmother, Tanja Felix, around 6:30 last night.

The boy was found unharmed at his grandmother's house in Prichard, which is in Mobile County. Fairfield police chief Leon Davis says Rhashud will be taken into DHR protective custody.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
