Man in Yazoo City rollover accident was shot

YAZOO CITY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Yazoo City Police and Yazoo County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a shooting/car accident that left one man dead.

Police and deputies responded to Rainbow Street just before 10:30 Monday night. When they arrived, they found 28-year-old Perry Bernard Hollins in the car that had wrecked and flipped upside down.

Hollins had two gunshot wounds and died on the scene.

    A Hattiesburg man is behind bars after a Thursday night stabbing injured one in the Hub City. Louis Mahea, 52, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after an incident that happened at 706 Milton Barnes Avenue. According to Hattiesburg Police Capt.
