A one-vehicle accident has caused parts of Highway 49 southbound to close for approximately three hours, according to MDOT officials.
A cattle truck wrecked in a construction zone Tuesday morning near Shady Acres Village on Hwy. 49 in Sanford, but no injuries are reported.
MDOT said for travelers to use alternate routes until the southbound lanes open early afternoon.
